We started Barker Scoopers because we know how busy life can get—and dealing with pet waste is the last thing most people want to worry about.  Our Story

We moved to the Utah Valley in search of new opportunities for our growing family of six.

While settling in, a friend introduced us to the idea of pet waste removal as a business. At first, we weren’t sure—could scooping poop really become something sustainable? But the more we looked into it, the more we saw a real need and a fresh opportunity to serve busy families like ours.


With a mix of faith and determination, we jumped in and started Barker Scoopers—excited to offer clean, safe yards through reliable, family-friendly service. Like anything in life, there were turning points. One of those led us back to our hometown of Vernal, Utah, where we found support and encouragement that kept us going.


We’re so grateful for the people we’ve met along the way and are thrilled to now be growing in both the Utah Valley and Vernal areas. Barker Scoopers is more than a business—it’s our way of helping families enjoy their outdoor spaces, one scoop at a time.
